This terrible disease has taken the lives of many and I want to be a part of helping the fight against it. I want to use my craft to give back to our community. Using photography to spread awareness for breast cancer is a great visual to share for the public. As a fundraising initiative, the survivor calendar will assist in raising funds to contribute towards the fight against breast cancer. The women who have diligently volunteered their time to be in the calendar are helping me capture humanity’s resilience against this despairing health crisis. The journeys of these women that I hope to capture with this calendar will reflect their bravery, strength and hope in fighting against breast cancer. The inspiration that led me to create a calendar solely for breast cancer survivors and patients is to increase awareness and promote the prevalence of breast cancer. I have been privileged to provide clients with photography services for a variety of occasions including weddings, family portraits and private events.
